Since June 1, 2020, SAIF-OPTIMA kids children’s department has been operating at SAIF-OPTIMA clinic.
Here we have created all the conditions for safe treatment and comfortable rehabilitation of our young patients, and also installed innovative equipment that allows us to diagnose accurately various eye diseases and perform even the most complex ophthalmological operations on children and adolescents under 16 years of age..

When to perform diagnostics?
Early detection of vision problems in childhood is very important to prevent further complications. We recommend getting tested in the following cases:
- redness of the child’s eyes or eyelids
- sitting close to PC, TV screen
- complaints of eye fatigue
- sensitivity to light
- white pupil
- deviation of the eyeballs to the sides
- and others
In addition, we recommend to undergo a preventive eye examination of your child at least 2 times a year, even if the child does not have any vision complaints.

2WIN, Thanks to the advanced accommodation correction technology, it does not require cycloplegic drugs. This ensures faster and more accurate objective refraction, especially for children and toddlers.
KALEYDOS ( ADAPTICA, Italy)
The first and unique light-independent vision analyzer Kaleidos detects refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and other visual abnormalities. This procedure is performed through binoculars, in real vision conditions.
Binocular objective refraction takes only 3 seconds when using Kaleidos. The measurement is automated in full and the accuracy of each examination is checked automatically by the instrument.
OCT REVO FC
OCT REVO FC (OPTOPOL Poland) is a 4-in-1 multifunctional device. It can be used for diagnostic examinations such as biometrics, corneal topography, anterior and posterior tomography and as fundus camera.
Synoptiscope INAMI 2510 (Japan)
INAMI 2510 (Japan) synoptiscope is a device for the diagnosis and treatment of strabismus. Its use helps improve the motor function of the eyes, correct visual disorders. This method is used in most modern ophthalmology clinics.

Orthokeratology. Night Lenses
Orthokeratology or night lenses allow patients with nearsightedness to see well without glasses or contact lenses. They are especially indicated for children and adolescents with progressive myopia, as they have the ability to “inhibit” the process.
