Zaxidov Azizbek Baxodirovich

Ophthalmic Surgeon

Ophthalmic surgeon, candidate of medical sciences with more than 20 years of clinical experience.

In 2004, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of General Medicine at the First Tashkent State Medical Institute, specializing in General Medicine. From 2004 to 2006, he completed a clinical residency, and from 2006 to 2010, he completed a full-time postgraduate course at the S.N. Fedorov Scientific and Technical Complex for Eye Microsurgery (Moscow, Russia).

In 2011, he defended his dissertation and received a PhD in medicine. In 2008, he completed specialized training in cataract phacoemulsification at the WET LAB training center of the Scientific and Technical Complex "Microsurgery of the Eye" (St. Petersburg). During his training, he completed internships at leading ophthalmology clinics in Germany under the DOG program.

Since 2012, he has been working in the Saif-Optima clinic.

• Diseases of the retina and optic nerve

He is a member of professional ophthalmological societies of Russia and Germany, and since 2015 has been a member of the Scientific Vanguard scientific group of the Russian Glaucoma Society.

He regularly participates in Russian and international ophthalmology congresses, conferences, and symposia. He is the author of 19 scientific publications in the field of diagnostics and treatment of ophthalmological diseases.

Laureate of the 1st prize of the II All-Russian scientific conference of young scientists with international participation "Current problems of ophthalmology".

In his work, he combines many years of surgical experience, a scientific approach, and modern international standards for the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.
